Welcome

Hi and welcome to my site.  This site is designed, built, and hosted by me.  The purpose of this site is to provide me with a custom online presence.  While I don’t particularly need a website, creating this project has allowed me to learn the fundamentals of HTML and PHP.  Through hosting the site myself, I’ve learned many of the back-end technologies that make the internet into the living and ever-innovating resource it has become.  Perhaps the most useful thing I’ve learned from this was mySQL and database management for ecommerce websites.  I plan on building one of those next and see what happens.
